My favorite thing about Vanderbilt Academy is that they have a challenging curriculum. I like it because they don't teach you stuff you already know. They make it so you need to think before you answer. If you need higher and harder classes they give you harder things. I also like the teachers. I like them because they are nice. They also help you when you have a question. The last thing I like about them is if you and someone else gets in trouble, they listen to both sides.

I like Vanderbilt because we have a lot of fundraisers and competitions. We have Spirit Week, and every year at the end we have a field day at Kollen Park. Also, we have a great school carnival! We have a lot of fun.
Band is very fun, we have wonderful songs to play. We learn how to play our instruments in a fun way.

If you have visited Vanderbilt Charter Academy before you might have heard one of our students say this is hard. Once in a while it is good to hear a student say this is hard. The reason why is because it means they are learning. When stuff gets harder and harder it means you are moving to different skill levels. The teachers will give you the education that's right for you!

I love Vanderbilt! There are a lot of things to enjoy about my school. Like, how we get a great education. The teachers here are encouraging and helpful. they also give out just the right amount of homework. Even with just a little homework, kids here do fantastic in their goals, spelling, writing and more! I've been going to Vanderbilt Academy for only six years and you wouldn't believe what I've accomplished!
